Storing Contact Information

Each customer, supplier, company, or person is a Contact in your Contacts Database. Contacts can each have contact details, phone numbers, and addresses stored so you can quickly access their information when needed.

Sorting & Filtering Contacts

You can easily categorize and filter your contacts list in your database by tagging them one or more attributes.

Tags can also contain values, making it easy to store metadata such as birthdays, account numbers or anything else.

Unlimited Contact Details

Each contact in your database can have as many email addresses, phone numbers, social media accounts and addresses as you want. You will have to select one of each to be the default for each contact for when automatic notifications are sent.

Custom Fields

You can easily store additional information about contacts using Tags, plus you can add text and images to contacts. Perfect for advanced use cases such as displaying a list of accedited installers on your website.

Sales Integration

Because your Contacts database is tightly integrated with your Sales, any customers who buy through any sales channel will be collected in your Contacts Database, making repeat sales fast and easy. With your website connected to the Synaps Commerce Platform customers can see and update the database without without you having to import, sync, or do manual entry.

Repeat Customers

With a central Contacts database that contains all your customer information, repeat sales are as simple as searching for the customer.

Pricing Rules

Customers can be tagged as belonging to groups to receive special pricing. It's easy to configure prcing-per-group and there are no limits to the number of pricing groups.

Contacts for individuals within companies are easy to manage, allowing customers to see all records for their company within web portals, or restrict a credit limit for all individuals ordering from an organization.

Customers can be enabled with a prescribed credit limit, making it easy to dispatch those commercial orders straignt away followed by an account statement.

Store Credit

Contacts can have Store Credit, either from returns they've made or a balance you grant to their account. Store credit saves the hassle of processing refunds and then new charges.

The Synaps Commerce Platform contains a web-hosting feature that can be used to easily create customer-facing websites. Portal websites can be used to connect with customers and achieve specific goals such as:
  • Portal sites to let customers lodge a new repair job.
  • Portal sites for customers to look up the status of their order.
  • Portal sites to capture data, such as warranty registration details or entries into a draw.
